Text on Tap
Live subtitles meets live events.
Text on Tap is the streaming platform of Text on Top.
A captioner can stream the text over the Internet using
a unique event ID-key. People can use this website text-on-tap.live to read along.
Additionally, with the Text on Tap Overlay application it is possible to present the text as true captions on your PowerPoint presentation. This allows you to screen-share your screen with others (using Teams, Zoom, ...) including captions!
It is also possible to provide real-time translations. The captioner simply switch on these desired target languages.
At this time a lot is still work-in-progress (as you can see on this rather empty website). Nevertheless, it is already being used by several captioners doing remote meetings.

If you want to try the Text on Tap Overlay application, download the tool below (for Windows and macOS).
Run the application and specify the event ID "testevent" and hit "Show as overlay". That's all!
